JUNE 2010 BOARD MEETING

The next Board Meeting is scheduled for July 19, 2010 at 7:00 pm in the Advantage Offices (1111 SE Federal Hwy, Suite 100). All homeowners are welcome and encouraged to attend.

To All Springtree Homeowners: Springtime greetings!

 We are all probably eager for warm sunny weather, the Florida we are here for.

This year’s Annual Meeting was literally a non-event with no quorum of owners. No business could be legally conducted. In this situation, the past Board continues to serve unless they resign. Fortunately, all agreed to serve another year. The Board consists of Jim Marshall, Bob Publicover, Geri Gaynor, Rob Sheil and Jonathan Piccirillo.

This Board, together with various owners, has done an excellent job. In the past year, a vacant home was bought, improved and re-sold with the Association able to re-coup all maintenance and legal fees. There are still accounts in trouble due to the present economy and the Association will work through these with legal representation.

The bank loan from the developer was retired in 2009 and the Association is debt free. In other areas, the playground was refurbished, the trees trimmed, entry lighting was added for safety, the entry and internal road patched, the preserve cleared of exotics and debris, the school bus route changed, architectural changes approved and good vendors were hired for lake and fountain maintenance, common area landscaping, pest control and gate maintenance.

Thank you to all who have painted your home in recent years, maintaining property values and beautifying the neighborhood. If you haven't painted in recent years, you can:

 • Paint your house the same color without approval

 • Paint a different approved color with Architectural Board Approval (Forms from Advantage Property Management, 772-334-8900)

 • Paint an unapproved color with approval of 51% of Springtree Owners (Forms from Advantage Property Management, 772-334-8900)

 Forms are also available on our website, www.springtreehoa.com.

The Association meetings are usually held the 3rd Monday of the month at the Advantage Property Management office at 7:00 p.m. All owners and suggestions, compliments and requests are welcome. See you then!
